CLINICAL APPROACH

Laura is a collaborative, validating, and attuned therapist. She believes the therapeutic relationship can be both healing and empowering. She uses a trauma-informed, client centered, and strengths based approach to help each client best reach their goals. Together with you, Laura helps create a warm, safe, and genuine space that each client can use to gain self-awareness and feel championed. She strives to meet the client where they are, and help guide them to where they want to be. She believes that through understanding and exploring how each client got to where they are now, they can more holistically heal. She also feels it is essential to help the client identify any barriers that may stand in their way.

Throughout this process, Laura places great importance on understanding the impact of a person’s identity, culture, and environment to best support them. Through collaboration, creativity, and humor, Laura helps client’s build clarity, insight, and self-compassion.
