About Us
Boutique Psychotherapy is a private-pay psychotherapy practice offering thoughtful, relational mental health care for individuals and couples navigating life stress, relationships, motherhood, grief, and intimacy concerns.
Our team of clinicians are trained in The Blau Method™ an accountability, goal oriented therapeutic approach that validates your feelings while holding you responsible for your role in your journey.
With a team of clinicians licensed in NY, NJ, CT and Florida, we’re prepared to meet you where you are, quite literally.
We work with people who are functioning, capable, and outwardly “doing okay,” yet feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck beneath the surface. Our goal is to provide therapy that goes beyond symptom management—helping clients understand themselves more deeply and create meaningful, lasting change.
Our Approach
Therapy at Boutique Psychotherapy is grounded, intentional, and emotionally intelligent. We believe effective therapy requires both insight and accountability—space to reflect, and support to move forward.
Our clinicians draw from relational, psychodynamic, strengths-based, and contemporary evidence-informed approaches, tailoring therapy to each client rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all model. Sessions are collaborative, thoughtful, and designed to help clients feel understood without feeling pathologized.
At Boutique Psychotherapy, The Blau Method™ is practiced by trained clinicians serving clients in:
New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Florida.
Virtual and in-person therapy available.
If you are ready to stop analyzing your life and start changing it, structured, goal-oriented therapy may be the shift you’ve been looking for.
We value depth, curiosity, and honesty—and we believe growth often happens when people are supported through discomfort rather than protected from it.
We are an integrative psychotherapy practice.
Integrative psychotherapy is a type of therapy in which we not only think integratively about the many different aspects of your life that play a part in your feelings and behavior. But we also work hand-in-hand with your physicians, psychiatrists, physical therapists or even other providers including fertility or health coaches, acupuncturists, yoga instructors, or pelvic floor therapists to ensure that you have well rounded mental health support.
We aim to unite traditional medicine, psychology, and other alternative and complementary approaches to make your therapeutic journey most effective.
We believe that your mental health is merely a part of your a whole system, which is why we work collaboratively with your providers to make sure you’re fully supported.
Who We Work With
Adults navigating anxiety, burnout, and life transitions
Individuals adjusting to motherhood, identity shifts, or grief
Couples seeking deeper connection, improved communication, or support through change
Clients exploring intimacy, desire, sexual pain, or emotional blocks to closeness
Many of the people we work with are high-functioning professionals, parents, and partners who want therapy that feels purposeful, contained, and respectful of their time and emotional energy.
A Curated Group Practice
Boutique Psychotherapy is intentionally structured as a curated group practice. Our clinicians work collaboratively, share values around high-quality care, and are selected for both their clinical skill and their relational presence.
We take care in matching clients with therapists aligned with their needs, goals, and therapeutic style—so therapy feels like a fit, not a guess.
Licensure & Availability
Our clinicians are licensed to provide therapy in New York, New Jersey, and Florida, offering both in-person and secure virtual sessions depending on location and clinician availability.
We operate as a private-pay practice, which allows us to prioritize clinical integrity, confidentiality, and individualized care.
Getting Started — A Note From Our Founder Dr. Carli Blau
Welcome to Boutique Psychotherapy.
I’m Dr. Carli Blau, and I’m glad you’re here.
I created this practice with a clear intention: to offer therapy that is genuinely catered to your empowerment and overall well-being. Each clinician on our team is deeply committed to helping people not just feel understood, but actually experience meaningful change in their lives.
Therapy should be a gentle, supportive space—one that allows people to process what they are carrying and make sense of their experiences. At the same time, I believe therapy must also be thoughtful, engaging, and appropriately challenging. Too often, I saw therapeutic environments that were validating but not directive enough—spaces that felt safe, yet didn’t always help people move forward.
Boutique Psychotherapy was built to hold both.
My carefully curated team of clinicians are trained to provide therapy that is validating and informative, supportive and challenging. We believe accountability, insight, and emotional safety can coexist—and that real growth often happens when people are supported through discomfort rather than shielded from it.
I’m proud of the practice we’ve created. When I’m asked for a referral, this is where I send people—because I trust the care, the clinical integrity, and the intention behind the work done here.
