Known for her expertise in sex therapy, she has a particular passion for working with clients facing sexual pain, infertility, and intimacy concerns. With her deep respect for the intersection of emotional and physical health, Dr. Carli has also become the go-to therapist for many in the medical field—supporting not only patients but also the physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals who care for them.

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE & TRAINING

Before launching her private practice, Dr. Carli began her career as an associate television producer—a role that honed her curiosity about human behavior and storytelling. She went on to earn her graduate degree from Columbia University School of Social Work, completing clinical internship in the emergency room at NYC’s infamous Bellevue Hospital.

She then practiced under the supervision of a psychiatrist on Manhattan’s Upper East Side while pursuing a Master of Education in Human Sexuality at Widener University. Dr. Carli went on to complete a Doctoral Degree from Widener University with published research in the field of infertility-related sexual stress and sexual esteem.

ON WEEKENDS

Dr. Carli lives in New Jersey with her husband, daughter and son, and three dogs including a geriatric maltipoo, a rescue and one very large great dane. She can be found dancing at all hours of the day, loves shoes and Dunkin Donuts.
