Carli specializes in relationships and sexual health-related topics such as managing sexual desire and functioning with infertility, endometriosis, pelvic floor dysfunction, vaginismus, vulvodynia, and re-kindling sexual desire post-diagnosis. Carli has become the go-to sex therapist for helping women rediscover their sexual functioning and desire after experiencing a loss of their desire and arousal from pain or trauma.
Carli has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Columbia University, and a Master's Degree in Sex Education from Widener University. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Clinical Sex Therapy and she received her certification in Perinatal Mental Health from the Seleni Institute in NY. Carli is also now qualified to practice Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, also known as EMDR, a form of psychotherapy utilizing rapid eye movements to desensitize the brain from traumatic emotional responses connected to experiences stored in long-term memory.
